Solve this problem: We are building a floating live edge tech table with one side waterfall for one of our best designer clients. It’s Friday and we need to have the table on a truck by Tuesday so it can get delivered to California on Wednesday. The G.C. was supposed to put backing in the wall so it is strong enough to support the table. The G.C. told us about a month ago that he wasn’t sure if the backing in the wall was strong enough and that he would get back to us. You have followed up with him a number of times and still have not heard back. He finally responds on Friday saying the backing is not strong enough and suggests that we make steel supports for the end of the table. Our woodworker and you hop on the phone with him to discuss options. The woodworker and the G.C. agree on adding steel supports, but then the G.C. sends you a picture of the wall with a 9” white baseboard. You realize that this is going to compromise the design of the table. What do you do?*
